About

Brendan O’Brien, a.k.a. “B.O.B.”, is a producer, actor, designer, and comedian actively creating in Philadelphia. He started his comedy career in 2019 as a producer for Temple SMASH, Temple University’s premiere sketch comedy T.V. show. He also performed long form improv with The Parliament, and as a guest on Hot Dog With Mustard. He is currently an on-call production assistant for Bowstring Studios.

In addition to his filmmaking and comedy experience, he has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Temple University. He has also done graphic design/social media work for Temple SMASH (@templesmash), High and Dry (@highanddrymovie), and his own personal platforms, including his Tiktok (@bobrien922) which currently has over 2,000 followers and 300,000 likes

Producer

Brendan has produced for all kinds of media including sketches, short films, plays, film premieres, and (soon) gameshows. As Executive Producer of Temple SMASH, he created 4 hour-long episodes of digital and live sketch comedy, performed live, as well as recorded to be aired on the TUTV T.V. channel. He recently produced the 20 min. short film “High and Dry,” which is about to start its festival run, as well as the film’s live premiere which garnered an audience of 150.

Actor

Brendan has been cast in a variety of roles, including many sketches, Cornwall in Shakespeare’s “King Lear,” and Dolph in an upcoming shadowcast performance of “But I’m a Cheerleader”

Designer

Brendan has helped manage the social media/graphic design for his own personal accounts (@bobrien922 on all platforms) as well as the professional accounts for the short film “High and Dry” (@highanddrymovie on IG) and Temple SMASH (@templeSMASH on IG). He is proficient in Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Premiere, as well as Canva (which this website was created with).
